It was your 'Add new items to panel' suggestion. I seem to have solved half of the problem, or at least, the calendar. Incidentally, I would also like to have a volume control in the tray as well, not sure if I should do a separate thread for that one, or if that should go in the multimedia section.Īh, I see, I think some confusion happened on my part because I conflated the applications that are displayed on the top panel with the applications that start up automatically upon log in to the system, and of course there is not meant to be a one-to-one match between them.
Xgce4 display menu not showing how to#
However, upon restart it doesn't show there anymore, so I would like to know how to enable to this feature to show in the tray on start up. When I click on it, it displays orage in the centre of my screen, which I can drag where ever I want. I notice it does that when I have VeraCrypt open as well, and it shows in the same location. It then opened up another smaller box to the top left, which I closed, and also a box in my 'system tray', in any case it's the top bar on the right hand side - There is, however, a black box showing over it. I then opened it, then clicked 'View', then 'Show Globaltime'. I went to the Applications Menu and navigated to orage calendar from 'Office' sub menu. I think I solved it - but only in my current session. Yes, that's precisely what I want, sorry for the late reply, it's due to the far away time zones.
